By now you should have received feedback from the Department of Agriculture regarding your Tams 3 Solar Capital Investment Scheme.

Submission- Tams 3 Solar Capital Investment Scheme

If you haven’t submitted as part of Tranche 1, then you won’t have received any feedback as of yet!

For those of you that submitted as part of Tams 3 Tranche 1 , you should of received feedback. If you have been accepted then you should get in touch with your installer and you can begin the Solar PV Installation. If you have received a letter/email from the Department of Agriculture for your Solar Capital Investment Scheme stating that there is ‘Application Deficiencies/Errors Noted’, you will need to contact your farm advisor and your selected Solar PV Installer, so they can amend your application and resubmit. you are usually given 10 working days to make this amendment and resubmit. If you don’t make the changes to your application, it will be rejected.

Common Application Deficiencies for Tams 3 Solar Capital Investment Scheme include:

  • All drawings/maps are not to an acceptable scale.
  • Applicants name is not same as name on the scheme.
  • TAMS 3 number is incorrect.
  • Agitation points not identified.
  • You cannot demonstrate that all of the electricity produced from the PV panels will be consumed on the holding.
  • No farm layout plan included.
