Solarco Newsetter – Safety First for SolarCo
Solar PV System in Killybegs, Donegal
SolarCo completed a 300kw Solar PV Project at Norfish, Donegal which produces 264,306kw hours of free electricity for use in the factory per annum. Norfish Limited is a family owned company founded in 1974 specialising in the processing and exporting of pelagic and smoked fish. SolarCo were pleased with the outcome of this installation.
Solarco Newsletter – Ian Donnellan appointed Technical Manager of Solar PV
In his new role Ian is responsible for all the operational
aspects of SolarCo. Including Project Management,
Installations, Inspection and aftersales as well as all the
associated paperwork and controls. In addition, Ian is
the Woodco Safety Officer.
Solarco Newsletter – SEAI Awards 2023!
WoodCo were finalists at the prestigious SEAI Energy
Awards, in the category of ‘Innovative Deployment of
Renewable Energy for its ESCO’s., where WoodCo
install a biomass boiler free of charge and the
business only pays for the heat it uses.

The second half of 2023 was busy for Woodco with the annual National Ploughing Championships in September. We had a great three days onsite!
